About This Card
A dancing figure, wrapped only in a purple sash, moves within a laurel wreath — the symbol of victory. In each hand, a wand. The four figures from the Wheel of Fortune — angel, eagle, bull, lion — appear again in the corners of the card. The wreath is oval, womb-like: an ending that contains a new beginning. The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, the end of the Fool's journey, the moment when all the lessons have been learned and integrated into a whole, dancing, liberated human being.
